I was an undisciplined and lazy slacker who spent time on the internet for fun. I was depressed about my weight and had an awful opinion of myself. I started in february 2011, I was sweating my ass off doing light cardio and small weights. after I graduated I was at my highest weight(250lbs.) and decided to take it more seriously. I began doing simple compound movements three days a week and lost thirty pounds in one month. from about september to january I was unemployed and didn't have the opportunity to go to the gym so I gained weight again. started doing a poor split routine from february until this week, just started strong lifts and like the progress I'm making.
I get to exert control and discipline in my life, no matter how chaotic the rest of my life is my routine is always there to hold it together. the attitude I get from training has moved into other parts of my life and I exercise all parts of myself now, mind, body and spirit.
