My husband got hired onto the CDA police department, and left for 10 weeks to go though the Idaho POST academy. I needed a time filler, so I got a gym membership to the YMCA. I started going daily and getting into pretty good shape. People asked me if I did figure competions and it peaked my interest. I did some research online to see what being a figure competitor was all about, and decided to set a goal to compete in the 2010 Emerald Cup that following April. The rest is history! I'm Hooked! Line and sinker!
Bodybuilding is an INCREDIBLE sport. It requires the utmost dedication, dicipline, and commitment. It is diffferent than other sports in that is not just what is done in the gym, but outside the gym also. You must live it and breath it. I found something in me that I never knew existed before I competed in my first show. I feel liberated, empowered in my womanhood, and more confident than ever before. I am in love with the person I have become! Bodybuilding is a new embraced demention of my life. It is something that is mine and no one can take it from me. Input=Output and I am in control of the input, which means I also control the output!
