, My name is Sara and I am 23 years old. I started my weight loss journey when my son turned 2. I was at my heaviest at 5'3" and 163 pounds. I am a soldier in the US Army and felt like a failure because I had yet to lose all my baby weight. In heart I always felt like an athlete but my body wasn't matching up to my mind. So I got tired of how I looked and how my lifestyle was becoming. I dropped 35 pounds and went from 35% body fat to 23% body fat by tracking everything I eat, eating clean, keeping my calorie intake between 1200-1500 calories, and becoming a "gym" rat. I run around 20 miles a week, I lift weights, and I do lots of High Intensity Interval Training. I am not done yet. I am still a work in progress and hope to one day become a crossfit athlete. If I can do it, anyone can! Hard work pays off, only if you stick to it.
