I was never really athletic growing up, I played outside with the kids next door, kickball, baseball, and basketball, but I was always the worst player. When I graduated from high school I was a typical band nerd and I wanted to go to college to become a teacher in the music field. When I started college I heard about freshman 15, I myself didnt want to get fat so I took a weight training class in college and the bug bit me! From then on I was hooked, now I'm persuing a degree in sports medicine and soon to become a licensed trainer!
I'm sure everyone here loves the feeling of progress, and thats what really drives me. there is no better feeling I get when I'm in the gym getting that pump. I remember the first time I experienced it while bench pressing, it was wild! Its what I now strive for every time I go, I feeling like Arnold In "Pumping Iron". And then seeing the progress others have wether its on t.v. or in my own gym it really gets me motivated.
