I have always been into sports, specially soccer. Played all my life. Got to eat all the junk food I wanted and never gained a pound. After I tore my groin at the end of December, 2011, I could not play or even run. I started to gain weight since my diet remained the same ( fast food, fast fod, fast food!!!). I am married to a personal trainer and she is in amazing shape. I could keep up before by being skinny and athletic..but not playing able to play and very poor diet started to catch up to me. I decided I needed to butn off calories somehow, so she got me to start lifting weights. I wasn't seeing much results so she explained to me how bad I ate. So we changed it all. I havent had fast food in 4 months, no coke, no late night snacks. I feel much better just by changing my diet. I started at 135 lbs, and now I am at 152 lbs. I can sprint and run just fine but i still can't kick the ball. My most fun part of cardio is out for me. So i gained more fat then I wanted by not being able to run for a while, but i did gain a little bit of muscle. I got hooked on how much better you feel after each workout, and how much people can change their bodies. Can't wait to go to the gym tomorrow and continue to improve!!
