I found my love for working-out when I joined the US Air Froce. Unfortunately once I got out and had children that love took a back seat to raising a family and trying to figure out how to be a wife, mother and women. The transition for me has been rough because like many women I struggle with feeling selfish or that I put the gym/working out before my family.
Recently, I sat down with my husband and identified ways for me to workout as well as spend time with my family. I purchased almost all of the the Eat Clean books by Tosca Reno and have made it my mission to learn about nutrition for myself and my family.I enjoy learning and experiencing new things.
I have also started to incorporate weight training into my routine. In the past, like most people trying to lose weight, I thought Cardio was the best and fastest way to make that happen. I have now learned that weight training and cardio are what I need to get the body I want.
So with the right tools, a great support system and a lot of hardwork I have hit the ground running and I won't stop until I reach my goals.
