Well I've always had a big build, but I maintained to stay under 200lbs, by biking and skateboarding. Once I started working though, I started eating out more and more, and more, and well, more. When I finally hit 240lbs, I came to realize that I need to put down that fast food, and start losing weight and feel how I used to when I was younger. My good friend of mine started at the gym before I, and when he brought me in for a day pass, I immediately loved the gym. A week later I signed up, and have been going about 5 out of 7 days since February of 2009.
At first, I dreaded working out cause I felt self conscious and, well like a fool cause I didn't really have a plan on what I was doing. Once I started researching routines and what workout does what, I came to find working out to be come a lot easier. Why do I love it? Well I love feeling like I'm accomplishing a good cause for my body, and I love the feeling of being able to conquer those max weights, that before was intimidating.
