Two weeks after the birth of my third child I decided i was going to take charge of my weight loss. I started the Couch-To-5K program after seeing friends post about it on Facebook. I have always been average but never in love with or proud of my body. The last time i seriously had run was in junior high school....and even then i was horrible. Too slow for short distance, not enough stamina for long distance, far from nimble enough for hurdles but i still gave it a shot.
Fast forward two years and I have signed up for my first half marathon in December 2012. Crazy, I know. But now i will be able to cross something off of my Bucket List. I am a lover of all BeachBody products. Love Turbofire, Insanity and am currently doing P90X. It's time to add definition and muscle.
I'm trying to find the right mix of supplements. I have decided to give Jamie Eason's Life Fit Trainer a go after the half marathon and give it my all. I tried it before but never took the eating or supplement portion serious.... and always added cardio during the first phase. But i have a goal in mind and I will DO WHAT IT TAKES to succeed this time.
I'm 31 years old and I want that body that my friends will be envious of!!!
Though, being a newbie at all this, all help/criticism/knowledge/tips/pointers are welcome :)
