I first started working out in college, probably around 2004. I would always go through phases, exercising off and on, but could never find the motivation or dedication to stick with a program. My mom has a lot of health issues, so I finally decided that I want to try to stay healthy and active, so I can avoid some of the problems that she has. At the beginning of last year, I had actually gained over 25 pounds, and realized that I was going on a downward spiral. I didn't start actually concentrating on my diet until several months ago, realizing that diet is a major part in getting healthy and fit. I started getting serious over the past year with my diet and workout regiment and have lost all of the weight that I had gained. I am now trying to get fit and live a healthly lifestyle. One day, I am hoping to compete in figure.
