In 2005 I was in college and wanted to lose a little weight, I saw a flyer for a local gym that offered student discounts, little did I know that this "local gym" was the famous Metroflex Arlington. I walked in and for the first time in my life I felt like I was somewhere I belonged. I have gone from over 220 lbs down to around 146 and competed in my first NPC show.

I love the way it feels when sweat pours down my back while doing cardio in the summer. The gym doesn't make any demands and ask for nothing in return... I get what I put in... in a life where my job is people needing me in their worst moments... it feels good for the feel of a weight in my hands there to do nothing but make me sweat.
