I lifted weights on an off in the years between high school and my late 20s. I would go at it hard for a number of months, make great progress, then fall off. About 2 years ago I got a fire lit in my belly and I have not stopped since. I was always a bit slender and never had much muscle mass but I always wanted to put on some size. Within 6 months of hardcore eating and lifting I put on 30 pounds of mass, not all of it was clean obviously lol. I did this mostly on a weight training routine. About year after I started lifting consistently, I joined a crossfit gym and it has totally changed the way I veiw fitness. I still want the muscle mass obviously but I also want everything else that is preached at crossfit. I now do a mix of Strength, Endurance & Crossfit Training thoughout my week. I am looking to get myself in the best shape of my life to compete in the crossfit open in a year or so.
