I got started on my weight loss journey by chance. My neice and sister keep bugging me to get out of the house and go see the trainer they were working with. So I finally did to shut them up to be honest about it. He was Jimmy Canyon IFBB Pro www.jimmycanyon.com. After 3 days of working out with him something just clicked in my head to stop eating sugar and other processed foods. I trained with Jimmy for 10 weeks. I then trained with Cheryl for 5 more weeks and she is the one how got my way of eating down to a science in a sense. I'm on her website under clients for more pictures. www. got2workout.com I had no withdrawal or cravings, I guess the time was right in my mind to do it. Also my 50th birthday was coming up in September and I refused to spend the rest of my life morbidly obese, especially when I was not always that way. I spent 12 years that way and it was no fun; my Father had also passed away that February from complications from double-by-pass surgery, he was a diabetes also, even though he wasn't overweight and he said to me "I don't want any of my kids to go through this", so that was also a factor in me wanting to change my body. So after 15 weeks with a trainer I was on my own doing what I had to do, asking people at the gym things and Cheryl questions about different exercises, etc.
Why I Love It:
I love working out so much I could lift everyday if it were possible. I just love the way my body has transformed, I never realize that I could build muscle and look so different. I look better now than I did in my 20's and I have all this energy. I can do things that I haven't been able to do in years.
How I Stay Motivated:
When I look in the mirror that keeps me motivated. I can still see the obese person at times and I don't want to ever go back to being obese again. The way people treat you is terrible, it's like you are invisible. The discrimation is unreal against you when you are that way and I don't want to go through that again.
BB Accomplishments:
Patience and Determination!!!!!

I was 307 pounds when this picture was taken in April, still in denial of being morbidly obese. I finally woke up in July of that year and started my weight loss journey.
I have more muscle definition now even though I weigh the same as in September 2007.
Thanks...I'll be able to use all that info to perfect that idea! I actually played with the idea last night. I'm doing a high fat, low carb diet right now so I mixed MP with 5T of heavy cream. It ended up a tad bit dry but it was SO good. And wow...super filling!
When you talk about making brownies, is that just where you simply microwave the powder mixed with water or heavy cream? I keep meaning to try that. Is there a protein/liquid ratio and microwave time for that?
I love how it whips into mousse! Kinda makes you want to put mini-chocolate chips in it. LOL
