my last year of high school i gained about 30lbs. i remember the day i was forced to buy size 18 jeans...not long after i bought some magazine like "shape" or "fitness". i lost about 45lbs in the following 6 months or so. <UPDATE>
I changed my start date to show that even though I discovered fitness four years ago, I have had a "bad" 6 months. I gained back 30 of those 45lbs I lost after high school.
Why I Love It:
It feels good to be good to myself. Oh yeah...and I have to prove to my inner fat child that I can change.
How I Stay Motivated:
remember that I have a bunch of cute clothes that don't fit anymore.
BB Accomplishments:
none that are new. i lost 45lbs a couple years ago-gotta pick up where I left off now... <UPDATE> arg re-doing some that work.

I want to lose my extra fat so i can see where i need to balance my muscle tone and give me a good base for goal #2. I would like to do some fitness modeling one day and most likely be competing in figure. I just want to somehow inspire others to live healthy like all the models i saw in the magazines did for me when i decided i was too big!
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 35 lb

Believing in yourself can at times be difficult, so what I encourage people to do is to set small, attainable goals so that they don't feel they have to climb the mountain in just one stage. Mt. Everest climbers do not get to the top in a single climb and it’s the same with fitness. This is a lifetime affair and the benefits are well worth the effort. Enjoy the journey and I look forward to seeing you have great results.
I wish you much success in achieving your goals. Push yourself, maybe even a little more than you are comfortable with, to be the best that you can be and you will be amazed at the changes and the speed at which they occur.
