I started "trying" to become a bodybuilder 12 years ago but made alot of mistakes in diet and kind of gave up for a few years. Now @ 48 I'm trying again
Why I Love It:
The feeling of being strong & healthy & pain free is great Plus the idea of looking great!
How I Stay Motivated:
looking @ the pics of men & women in here that have changed their lives
BB Accomplishments:
going from 180 to 170lbs in about amonth and half of Atkins induction
(very unpleasant though!)
I want to transform my 170 lb body to whatever it takes to get shredded & drop my body fat to a ridiculous 6-10%
Goal (Long):
I'm currently running a 7.5 minute mile 5 days a week and using a total gym 5-6 days a week also dumbells and chinup/pullups. i want to have a shredded body. i don't know enough about supplements but am on a budget so if anybody's got advice...
If there is ever anything that you think I can do to be of assistance please, feel free to give me a yell. I would like nothing better than to see you achieve your fitness goals or dreams.
I stopped by to wish you much success in achieving your goals. Challenge yourself to be the best that you can be, nothing more but nothing less and you will reap the rewards of all your hard work. I look forward to watching you progress Smile, and enjoy the journey. Remember: “At first so many of your dreams seem impossible, then they just seem improbable, and then, through your hard work, they soon become inevitable.”
Hi Steve! I really appreciate you taking the time to stop by. By the way your abs are looking pretty impressive as well. You are definitely making superb progress, and very very few 40+ look anything like you. You've done very well, but the best part is...you obviously will continue to get improve!
Steve thanks not just for adding me as an inspiration, but also for the great comments too. There are so many motivational and superb physiques here it is truly an honor to have your respect. Thanks again, Troy
Steve, first...Welcome to Body Space! I am certain you will find constant motivation to excel here. Thanks for the add and you great words of support. I admire your gusto to really get out and make a change. My best recommendation is to try to keep it simple. Juts clean up your diet first, before restrict calories too much. And get in the gym regularly.
