How I Started:
I wanted to get bigger, stronger, and the gym was where I could make it happen.
Why I Love It:
I love the way I feel while I work out. I do the best I can at becoming the pinacle of what I can be. The high afterwards is like none other. Life seems to float by and you feel accomplished after a good workout. It almost seems like an addiction. I love exhausting myself to the point of breaking down only to wake up the next day ready to do it all again.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by knowing that there is always room for improvement and setting little goals for myself along the way. My brother deosn't know where my motivation comes from and how I can work out almost every day. I told him that it is not something that I feel like I could or should do but something that I have to do. I think this came from the fact that all four years of high school two seasons out of the year I had morning practices at 6:00 every other morning. Although it was tough I knew I had to do it and that made it easier and made me question it less. If I neglect a particular muscle group or excercise I will make an effort to do twice as much next time. I monitor my body by seeing the change as I transform it.
BB Accomplishments:
Looking back at where I came from, I see how much I changed and I have realized that I have become a new person because of what I do with my life. When I was younger, I was somewhat chubby, not fat but was more or less self concious about my image. Anyway, I am proud with the drive and motivation I have found and have developed a strong will and power within myself to do anything, well almost anything.

Starting to lift Bulking up
This is the first picture that I allowed myself to take working out. I had started a few months earlier, but this is pretty much what I looked like at the start of my transformation.
It took finally three months to gain the 15 lbs that I wanted. I'm at 175 now!

What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?
Sometimes it breaks my focus. I breathe quickly but never grunt.

Depends. On leg day I might wear pants as well with abs. Mostly just shorts and a sleeveless shirt. Underarmour makes good light clothing that fits to your body. I wear loose and tight fitted shir...more
