What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
RUNNING!!!! Yeah, I know, but its so hard to run, wa wa wa. Its so much easier to get on an eliptical, or a bike. Im not here for easy. Im here for results. What calf workout has worked best for you?
Start with standing one legged calf raises on a block. 3 sets of 15. 50, 55, 60 lbs dumbell in one hand
Next seated calf raises on a, well, i guess its a machine. The kind you stack plates on one end. I do 5 sets, 14 down to 6 reps. start with 45 lbs, end with 250.
Lastly, calf raises on the leg press machine. Guess you could call them calf presses. All this is split set on leg day, so I already have the sled loaded up. I do 3 sets, 10, 8, 6. 315, 405, 495.
This once weekly combined with uphill sprints worked into my cardio about 3 times a week which blast my calfs pretty good. Start with standing one legged calf raises on a block. 3 sets of 15. 50, 55, 60 lbs dumbell in one hand

So you wana run?
So I'm sitting here answering some body questions and I got stuck on the cardio answers. Cardio is something I see a lot of muscle heads neglecting. Granted a lot of the dudes I work out with aren’t cut up, just big dudes. I always ask them jokingly if they want...
How are your gains going ? I am new to this bodybuiling.com business but like it so far . Those are some huge calfs , i was wondering was it genetics or hard work .
