How I Started:
Summer before entering high school I went on a cruise and one day went and checked out the spa on the ship. I entered the gym and began using some of the equipment and I have been hooked ever since. Once I got home, I joined my hometown gym, started seeing results and it really has been the best thing thats ever happened to me.
Why I Love It:
I get such a high from lifting. Something about the blood flow to the muscles and knowing that with every contraction I am moving forward. I actually even like to run as well. I love sweating and getting my heart rate up. I feel like I have accomplished so much in my day just by going to the gym.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated because I want the perfect body. And once I achieve my goal I will stay motivated because I won't want to lose it. Also, seeing people work out around me is a big motivator. Work out partners always help and just knowing that it's keeping me healthy in general helps too.
BB Accomplishments:
Probably one of my greatest achievements was when I deadlifted 500 for the first time. It was such a great moment.

My Goal is to become as strong and muscular as I can be. I have this love for being able to lift and move things that alot of people aren't able to. Also, I want to remain in good cardiovascular shape and be flexible. I don't want to be an older man that can't keep up with his kids or have a doctor tell me that I need to lose weight cause my blood pressure is high. I want to live life always feeling confident about my body.
What supplements do you take immediately after your workout? Why?
I drink a protein shake to start the repair process immediately. Also I try and get some carbs in there not too long after as well to start replenishing that glycogen.

What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
I try and lead a high protein, good carb, low fat lifestyle although I mess up a lot on the good carb and low fat part. I always make sure I get my protein in though.

6 years, i do lots for the base and no i live with my boyfriend and we are possibly moving to england very soon, if we dont move i'm deploying in august to afghanistan..
lol yeah i went right after high school, and i chose air force because my parents were in the army, so no and marines.. hell no lol and the other two deal with water, and being on a ship for months at a time is a no go for me.
just since sept 07.. and well i'm not sure what your boot camp entails, but basic training was tough dont get me wrong, but it was more of a mental game. in the end it definitely made me a stronger person.
