That was an edit actually. I originally was going to say pics of my father (he was rail thin until 40 when he gained a lot of weight), but I thought better of it in case he ever saw my profile.
For GVT to work, you have to do it exactly as it is supposed to be done. Check out this article and give it a go. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fu n/luis13.htm
True, but the smart lady does not lose weight quickly. She bides her time and changes her habits. This ensures permanent success, proper nutrient status, and loss of fat instead of muscle.
Wow! Well glad that you didn't hurt yourself really bad, could have been much worst! Well off to the gym! See how things go, shoulders and Tri today!

yep, It a fun way to do your sets. After you finish the your 2 then he does 2 imediately. Then 3, 4, and as far as you want to. The rule that my trainer would use was If I did it he had to do it!
Your kidney? Dang sorry to hear that man. But all that protein powder does is speed up the progress. So you'll definitely be able to reach your goals (just maybe a little slower). I'm pulling for you though.
I'm about 140 lbs. and protein per pound usually varies for 1-2g per pound. I usually do 1 g per pound because it has been working for me (10 lbs in 2 months).
I mean I don't want to be insanely strong. I just want a good balance of bodyweight strength(iron cross etc.) and lifting strength is what I meant. I feel like they complement each other well if you know what I mean.
