When I Started:
Jul, 1989
How I Started:
Oh boy, well my introduction in life came in 1979 when I was 10 years old. A friend of my at the time who was 16 years old. His father was Mr San Diego at the time. Dabbled all in the 80's and in 1989 I went hardcore at it and have been ever since.
Why I Love It:
I love the resistant's of the weights. They push me and I push them back even harder. I love the sore worn out feelings after a great work out. A hot shower afterwards and the feeling the next morning of a nice pump. The feeling of people looking at your like wow, he's in great shape. It's a nice reward for the hard work put in. It's my lifestyle and I need it to be truly happy. For with out it, I'm not a happy guy to be around, lol.
How I Stay Motivated:
Well, to be honest. After 20 years of doing this. I'm addicted to the max. My mood will swing if I feel I'm loosing size and muscle. I miss the pump feeling or getting my stress out at the gym.
BB Accomplishments:
first time benching 100lbs in 1984, 200lbs in 1989, 300lbs in 1996, 350lbs in 2005, going for 400lbs now. I've just had set backs and was in the Marines for 8 years. So was oh so hard to keep up the routine. Otherwise, my goals would be higher today.

What type of person at your gym annoys you the most? Why?
Cell phone user's, people benching 20 lbs on the bench when there's only 2 benches, etc.

What type of outfit do you usually wear when you workout? Why?
I'm the type that likes old school Rocky sweet shops. No color matching work out suits for me. I'm there to get it on and not for a fashion show. I do not care what other's think, yet I don't look like a bum, lol.I'm the type that likes old school Rocky sweet shops. No color matching work out suits for me. Yeah... I'm lucky the Gym I'm out now houses quite a few biscuits (100lbs) so I can load those up then add the cookies (45 lbs)... one sled also has a top rack, behind the foot plate. Very similar tot he one Big Ron uses for his big leg press. My goal is to break it!
That's the plan man! I haven't updated my stats yet because I can't find my tape BUT I have lost a few more waist inches and am UP to 290ish again.
I think I am going to leave the pics I have right now and then BOOM, update as a monster.
I still have 20-30ish pounds of fat to lose but I SHOULD be able to cut down and be around 230 to 240 if I play my cards right.
Would you put some weight on that sled already?
Hey Jerry. I train at Mall 205 24hr 3 to 4 days a wk. I train at 24hr Andresen Fri, Sat and Monday. THX for the comps! Looking swole yourself bud. ed aka Ol Supe
Eh, chalk up the lack of Ratings to the huge number of pictures posted here. And adding comments takes substantially more time - but not adding comments gets me pissed of responses every now and then (especially guys who don't understand that "9" is still the second-highest Rating available, and "10" should be reserved for truly phenomenal work & achievement). Mini-rant, but I'm dealing with one of those guys right now.
