I've always been athletic and in sports but I really got started after I got married and my wife tol me one day that my pee stinks! Yup, she said the color was off and it had a bad smell..She advised me to drink more water and lay off the sodas. To my surprised (and hers) she changed my life forever! I felt so great after switching to water that I had to learn more, I wanted more, and from there I took the ball and ran with it.
Why I Love It:
Bodybuilding is my natural drug, I love it! I don't drink, and I don't smoke, so my buzz comes from the poundage of iron and steel. There's no better feeling in the world then constructing your body and knowing that your hard work, faith and dedication has brought you to the next level.
How I Stay Motivated:
My kids, life, God...you name it! Bodybuilding is much more than lifting weights, it's a passion. I didn't choose it, it chose me.
BB Accomplishments:
I achieved competing in my first show 27 July 07! I never thought I would step on stage.
Do you tell your friends and/or family about your fitness goals?
Yes
Why or why not?
They get to hear it every time they talk to me! Hahaha. I love good health and fitness! Nothing in the world is better than knowing you are in control of your own life.

What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Take some time to get to know yourself..I mean really know yourself and know what you want in life. The only person who can stop you from getting what you really want is you.

Description: Great interview, if he can hold it down and become a pastor he will touch many and have an amazing story to tell. Hopefully he doesn't pull a "Paris Hilton" and return back to his old ways...
Stiff Legs
Played: 33
Description: Finishing up a tough leg workout with stiff legs after heavy squats. I did some good slow reps with 145lbs to get a good burn. I used two 25's on each side instead of 45's to get a deeper stretch at the bottom...Seem to work out just fine!
