I started bodybuilding when I was about 22 years old. I was tired of my skinny body and it killed my self-esteem. I took action and started to research, lift, and take supplements. After a year of lifting, I broke my left arm. I almost gave up after 1 year of taking time off from the gym. When I came back, it was the hardest ever to get back into it. As time went by, I managed to learn how to do proper lifting, how my body reacts to exercise, stress, diet, and rest. So now that I'm much more informed about my body and my diet, I'm doing much better at the gym and my body has been transforming even better now than ever before. I remember looking in the mirror one day when I was about 18 years old and wondering why none of the girls talk to me. I looked at my body and said "damnit, time to become attractive!!!" Not only did I overcome my shy personality, but I made myself physically attractive too. Now it's a whole different story. Now it's most of the women I see that are shy to talk to me now ;-) The confidence bodybuilding gave me through the years has helped me stay on top of my game at the gym.
Why I Love It:
Because I absolutely love being in my own skin now more than ever before! It has helped me overcome my shy personality by building my self-esteem. Now I love taking my shirt off anywhere I go. There is no better feeling than having great health, and being physically fit. With health, everything else is possible. Also, bodybuilding helped me see who is being supportive of the women I've dated/been with. A bodybuilder needs a supportive woman; one who is there to make you feel relaxed, happy, and show you that she is proud of you.
How I Stay Motivated:
My friends who keep saying they should hit the weights every time they see me haha. There is absolutely no better feeling in the world than flexing parts of my body and feeling every inch of muscle pulling. Getting out of the shower and seeing myself in the mirror gives me a smile on my face. The only downside is that my clothes are started to not fit me anymore :) Bodybuilding has thought me to stay dedicated to my physical, mental, and career goals all my life. My results that appear motivate me really well also but nowhere near as when I am in public, the looks I get from the women. Also at the gym, the attractive women motivate me even more :) I just stay focused on my workout with trance music bumping on my mp3 player and pump some crazy iron! Trance music really motivates me at the gym to lift hard.
BB Accomplishments:
Going from 130 to 180 was nowhere near as hard as going from 180 to 209 now as of Nov 17th, 2009! Now I am going to go for 220lbs. THIS IS FOR THE BIG BABY! I may want to go to an amateur competition in the future depending on how satisfied I am with my results in the next two/three years.

Everyday I'm in pain; good pain. If one cannot go through this pain period, forget it.
Since I was about 12 years old, I had a poster of an idol who had the greatest abs and body overall. Since then, I've been wanting to be just like that.

I've been doing more dumbbells lately especially for chest and arms. I love it since one has to also learn how to balance the weight, and you get a more...

Thanks man. That's really encouraging. I am sticking in there, just can't get my weight to start shifting up. Really need to put on some mass. When I get the money I will be getting a protein shake or two just to tip my diet in my favour.
