I started bodybuilding when I was about 22 years old. I was tired of my skinny body and it killed my self-esteem. I took action and started to research, lift, take supplements. After a year of lifting, I broke my left arm and lost another year of all my results since I had to let my bones heal. So technically, I worked out for one year, not two years. I learned also how to do proper lifting, how my body reacts to exercise, diet, and rest. So now that I'm much more informed about my body and my diet, I'm doing much better at the gym and my body has been transforming even better now than ever before.
Why I Love It:
To make my dream of my ideal physic be no longer a dream...
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by taking progress pictures every 3-6 months. I love the compliments I get from friends and especially the reaction I get when I'm with my gf out in public.
BB Accomplishments:
Going from 130lbs to 180lbs was extremely tough. In time I did it though and I'm very happy about it.
Forum Signature:
Everyday I'm in pain; good pain. If one cannot go through this pain period, forget it.

Since I was about 12 years old, I had a poster of an idol who had the greatest abs and body overall. Since then, I've been wanting to be just like that.
I been recovering from a strange injury to my left leg. It happened very randomly and I didn't feel the pain until later. At first it was my ankle that was sprained and then when that healed up my calf and hamstring muscles got strained badly. It's been getting better during the...

Awesome transformation! You are a direct inspiration to me, as I've also always been a skinny-ass computer/gaming nerd. I also just started working out right before I turned 22, so hopefully my results will also match yours, which are ****ing awesome.
That's some impressive progress. As a former skinnybones myself, I can sympathize. 135 to 240's been a strange and wonderful journey. Hope to see you at 220 soon.
