I have always been a healthy person, even as a kid growing up. I got tired of being the skinny kid though. I was teased a lot for being so skinny and small, so I picked up some mags when I was younger and started throwin up that iron! Ever since then I've been addicted, but got real serious October 2006. I wanted to be the best I could be. I am a 100% natural, and plan on staying natural for the rest of my life. One life, drug free.
Why I Love It:
After every rep and set you feel like a million bucks. You feel like you accomplished something once you step out of that gym after a grueling 2 hour workout. I have made this a part of my life, and look forward to helping others achieve their health and fitness goals.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated through seeing progression, results through my hard work, my beautiful supportive wife, and compliments. All Natural, Drug Free, StraightEdge.
BB Accomplishments:
Controlled Labs Sponsored Natural Athlete.
Nutrition Zone Sponsored Athlete.
Muscle Ink Sponsored Athlete\Model.

I had just started to really work on my abs and thought this picture was great at the time, lol. I look back and say, whoa..where's my definition?
Still keepin those abs in check while workin on gainin. Going to do the best I can to keep as much definition as possible while throwin on weight..and still eatin clean.

Goal (Long):
I want to be a sucessful personal trainer, business man, and example for others. Helping others achieve their health and fitness goals!..and possibly owning my own gym someday..
Kane is a machine! He's right up there next to Frank Zane who is my #1 inspiration. Kane's always been someone I've looked up to since joining BodySpace. His knowledge, conditioning, dedication, and work ethic is nothing short of amazing. He truly is what health and fitness represents. He's a funny guy too!
I usually stick within the 10-12 range..This seems to work great for me. If I am reaching 12 reps without a struggle, then I know it's time to bump up the weight.

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
I will usually rest about 40 seconds. I like to keep the intensity going, I won't rest more than that..this keeps me pumped and focused without resting too long and thinking too much..

What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
I watch training videos, bodybuilding videos, and blast the music loud!!! This gets me pumped up and ready to train!!!
I just want to take the time to thank each and everyone one of you who have supported me over the years. All of you are truly the ones who keep me going. I was looking over some of the comments today left in the "Inspired" tab and realized that I am so lucky to have all the support...
Hey Nick. My goal is to look like you someday!
Hey, I know you probably get asked this a lot... but, did you do anything in particular to get rid of the "love-handles" look? My body profile has a nice V-taper to it except at the waist where there is a little hump.
Any advice would be really appreciated (even if it's just "nah, there's nothing you can do about that")
