Jun, 2006
How I Started:
My 120.9 Kg / 269.1 lbs did not worry me much. But man, did the 42% body fat scare me! I just had to do something about that, so I got my butt up and into the gym.
Why I Love It:
I’m in better shape than most people half my age. That’s all motivation I could ever need.
How I Stay Motivated:
I just take a look at guys my age and think to myself, “I never wanna be such a wreck again!”
BB Accomplishments:
I was at 42% body fat when I started. Just take a look what it's like now.
What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
Bodybuilding means to sculpt the body - not to deform it. Nowadays, they create monsters like Ronnie Coleman and think this is beautiful. Look at people from the pre-steroid era, like Steve Reeves. Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
I got a pretty stiff neck from Barbell Overhead Presses. I was out of the game for a week. Doing nothing was the best thing to recover.

What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
Poor form and too much weight. Well, too much weight usually causes poor form. Please check your ego at the gym door. You shouldn't care about the weights someone else can lift - worry about the weights you can lift safely and with textbook form.
