Fit Status:
This week of maxing out on my lifts was terrible. But now I am motivated to lift harder.

How I Started:
My father bought a set of dumbells for me when I was in the 5th grade. I started lifting heavy with my father in the 8th grade. I lost my drive to lift until sophmore year. Now I lift with drive and determination.
Why I Love It:
It helps me improve in both wrestling and football. I love the fact that I am the strongest on my football team. It makes me push myself harder when I am doing a core lift and the other guys on the team watch in utter amazement and then give me congratulations after I do my lift. I just wish they would push themselves as hard as I do. I also love that my coach always wants me to push myself everyday in the weightroom. If I am low on motivation he will push me to push myself.
How I Stay Motivated:
I'm just always motivated to lift. But watching everyone watch me while I lift gives me encouragement. The younger and older athletes and teammates of mine on the football and wrestling team ask me for tips on weightlifting. The fact that they ask me gives me motivation. It makes me think "these people hold me in high regard, i wont let them down, i must get stronger". I stay motivated slightly by asthetics, but mostly the gains I get every week. Reading my weightlifting card and seeing the difference in weight that i lifted 4 weeks previous helps keep my pumped. If I am ever low on motivation, my coach knows how to push me to push myself. And if that doesn't work, he will force me to do the weight. Even though I hate it at the time, I always feel better after I am forced to lift whatever amount of weight for whatever lift.
BB Accomplishments:
Won a Gold medal in my first weight competition at a local highschool.
Strongest member of my school's football team.

I want to drop to 15% body fat while weighing 230lbs. For weight lifting I am striving to hold my schools records in bench, squat, power clean, and deadlift. I currently am close to tieing most of the records, but I would like to outlift the guys that used to be my weightlifting heroes. For sports, I want to start the D-line and place at states in the 285 weight class. I also would like to be a wrestling team captain my junior and senior year.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 25 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
10%

I also try to jog on saturdays, and hit up my pals and play basketball on sunday. We condition at school on tuesdays and thursdays.
