I've been working out off and on for a few years...at least as long as I've been a member here. I do a show in the summer which requires me to not wear a shirt, and I don't like looking like a fat hairy slob.

I'm really proud of the progress I've made so far. I'm nowhere near where I want to be, but my gut is gone! And is that a six pack I see poking through there? :-D

What should look for in a gym? What should you avoid?
Make sure they have all the equipment that you need. Also, if you know what you're doing, avoid places that have a lot of personal trainers with workout teams. You will get harrassed to do these things, and they're a waste if you're even intermediate. I like my workouts being a challenge. I do not like that challenge being due to the fact that I can't breathe through my nose. Ugh. I absolutely pushed myself just to get through my chest workout, much less triceps or *gasp* cardio (that gasp was more of what I was trying to do for air...
yep..figured it was about time..but i get self conscious with it up..so it wont be up long..lol..i am doing pretty great this week..wish i could go to the competion this weekend..i cant wait to see one!!

Hey Kevin, Thanks for stopping by today. That is VERY COOL pic of you and your lady hamming it up in front of the camera! I love the attitude! Got a renfair-demo at a local church on saterday, did lousey at crown turney last saterday, am getting in what training I can now that my gym is closed and playing magic with some local kids once a week. How are things with you?
