Looks like your making progress, strength is impressive. Working out over there is the best. Our gym was a tent with no A/C, 4am and still 90 degrees. Still a great workout before or after a mission was the best!

I like to work out chest twice a week. I don't think it's overtraining if you give those muscles a few days to recover.

Yeah, without a spotter it's tough to go for the heavy weight. Just be smart and safe. Don't use collars. Give the heavy weights a try for a few weeks and see if you see a change. The hardest thing for you is to restrain yourself from overworking your muscles by working them heavy too much in the same week. I'd do chest everyday if I could but I know that would be stupid and my workout partner would cuss me out.

It's good your concentrating on form because that's big time important. I would work with the heaviest weight you can with perfect form for 5-6 sets, 4-5 reps (maybe a heavy burn-out set at the end) and only work chest twice a week. If you go heavy enough you will need time to recover.

Try going real heavy on your chest workouts. Benh press Six sets of only 4 to 5 reps where your partner has to help you get that last rep each time. Then same thing with 2-3 sets of decline presses. Finish off with heavy dips. Heavy weight, many sets, low reps.
