When I was younger I was a pretty good athlete. High School coaches got me working out for the sports I was in at the time, I got hooked from then on.

The way I stay motivated is seeing the difference in the way my clothes fit, and by the weight i have lost so far.

I have been a think person my whole life. In high school I was in every sport possible. I had children at a young age, and was never able to shed the excess weight. Through the years I put on even more weight and have tried every diet i could (some healthy, others not so healthy). I did get down to a reasonable size about 8 years ago. My life style played a big part in losing the weight. now I am at a stage in my life where I need to lose healthy weight and change my lifestyle to keep the weight off. I realize as the years go on it is getting harder to get the weight off and keep it off, but I am motivated to make it work this time because I want to be around for my family for many years to come. My plan is to get me and my family to develop a healthy lifestyle and stick to it.

What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
Low sodium, low sugar, lean protein, veggies, fruit, good fats, & simple carbs. in moderation. Eating 6 times a day.
What is your favorite "healthy" dessert? Give the recipe if applicable.
Fruit & yogurt, Sugar free jello or pudding.
What are your secrets for making healthy food taste great?
I use sodium free spices.

My husband is running a contest at work that starts today. Each person puts in a small fee to enter the contest. The 3 people who lose the highest percentage of weight by the end of 12 weeks wins a percentage of the pot. Me and my husband are having our own contest at home to motivate him...
