When I Started:
May, 2007
How I Started:
Well, the usual thing: looking in the mirror and realising the gut and the lager has to go. Also I was getting out of breath when doing the simplist of things. I've always liked playing sport and going to the gym when I was at school but I stopped doing all of that when I went to uni and swapped it for drinking. I went from being thin but with a bit of muscle to a fat git. So I decided this had to change and I signed up.
Why I Love It:
Because you can get lost in it and forget about all of the rubbish you have to put up with during the day. Plus I get a real buzz at the end of a good workout.
How I Stay Motivated:
Knowing how I felt and looked before I started working out again, the feeling of being lighter and having more energy. Also I don't make going to the gym a big thing with other people so its great when they comment on my weight loss especially when you haven't seen for a few weeks.
BB Accomplishments:
Restarting! Losing a stone (14lbs) in a year. Getting down to 5Kgs on the assisted dips/chins machine. being able to run the 10K on the treadmill in under an hour - No chance a year a ago!

The 12-week Body for Life program helped both my wife (bodyspace: judimax) and myself achieve our much-needed body transformations. I lost over 50 Lbs and went from 36 to 10% bodyfat and judimax went from a size 12/14 to 4/6 during the 12 week Body for Life program. Let us know if you wish more info or if we can be of assistance.

Thanks mate, I see you are moving forward as well. I think as long as we are moving towards our goal we are doing good, some have the ability to get there quicker, but for some of us it takes a bit more time.
