All of my training revolves around squatting. I usually squat every 6 days. I'm slowly learning how to do deadlifts. I haven't really integrated them into my routine because I don't want to have two different leg days.
I'm satisfied with my chest the way it is. I'm very careful when it comes to...
The weight, I know it's serious and that's why I like it :)
The pills worked for me but I don't really need them, it honestly was curiosity. I got energy boost from it though!
believe it or not my leg workouts keep getting better. they are absolutely my favorite body part to train. as far as pictures i will have some coming this week, i start my contest diet and am gonna take pictures every week for 12 weeks.
I can get 3x10 reps easily with the ring dips so the dip station would really be only for others that aren't quite there yet. I'm not sure $160 bucks is even worth it, heck just give them a bench to do bench dips.
would be a good question for the equipment forum at crossfit.com. But DEFINITELY tell me what you end up doing and how it works because I've been thinking of the same thing.
you know bro I've wondered the exact same thing, I'm trying to wrap my brain around where I can do a dip station in my garage but I haven't come up with one. If you go with the width PVC pipe that I got then its pretty dang strong, but youd want a wider base to keep yourself upright I'd imagine.
Yeah dude,
I know what your saying about recovery. Sometimes it can be pretty brutal and I'll need to take a day off. Not sure if I'm even ready to do a lot of these workouts (see wallball with 20lb ball, 1.5 pood KB, etc)... some 3 day sets are fine but others are brutal and I'm forced to take an extra day (lol w/ my first linda I took a week off)
I have not. It probably wouldn't make that big of a difference. I actually think I got my from eliterings.com . Anyways, for a competition set your looking at around $100-120 for the rings and straps only, if you want the entire setup your looking at a $450. If you just got the competition rings and made a hybrid setup, your looking at a total of 150. Elite rings or ringtraining is a good, cheaper alternative, and even cheaper is is senine rings or make some out of pvc pipe.
Sweet man, you're going to love crossfit. I got my rings from ringtraining.com If you have any questions about anything crossfit wise, I'd be happy to try to answer your questions, or at least point you in the right direction.
I bought a few elastic bands from Dick's Sporting Goods. A hot chick checked me out with my pink "Pilates starter bands". Embarrassing. Then, I found the same set at WalMart back by the gym stuff. They're pretty decent quality. a
Hey man- thanks for the add. I don't do many bodyweight exercises at all- I work almost entirely with dumbbells.
Peace, good luck with everything.

Yeah, cultish is a REALLY good way to describe it! I was a diver in college/skateboarder before that and I thought I had terrific balance until I was suckered into (chick) a yoga class. I flopped around like a clown in there. Not to push my obsession with chains and bands...but bands in particular seem to command my full attention in terms of balance. Watch for injury, though!
You know what just occurred to me that might interest you. There was a dude around here named Jamesters (sp?). He & his pals were into "tricking" & they'd do all kinds of wacky bodyweight stunts. After reading your goal, I thought I might mention it. He has links from his site. Take care, al
