When I Started:
Feb, 2008
How I Started:
I just woke up one day feeling heavy and not really liking the way I looked. So I have since altered how I eat, increased my water intake, and have started hitting the weights hard 4 times a week. I am already seeing noticeable progress.
Why I Love It:
The benefits: stress reliever & looking/feeling better
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking at everyone else that is not fit and equally those that are in great shape. Also, looking at old pictures of myself.
BB Accomplishments:
Staying consistent! This isn't really an accomplishment but being a sponge with everyone that has been doing this, correctly, longer than I have.
Forum Signature:
Be grateful, stay humble but most certainly ALWAYS lift hard!
In competition with myself and thus far I'm winning.....
So as I am sure most of us in here, more than likely, took our wives, mothers, grandmothers etc. out to brunch, lunch and/or dinner yesterday who in here is experiencing food guilt?
You know the stuff that you ended up eating that you knew you shouldn't have but couldn't resist?
Well in all actuality I haven't missed a beat. I used to have about four shakes a day; 2 cassein, and 2 whey protein; i've narrowed it down to just one a day. My whey protein shake post workout. Its only 100mg sodium, which is way less than a slice of cheese.
Thank you so much for the very nice compliment and also for the friendship invitation, I appreciate it! Best wishes to you for success with your training. I hope you have a good week! Jen
