How I Started:
I wanted to hit the iron because I played highschool basketball and I wanted to get my vertical and speed up. I got out of highschool and I stopped playing ball and got real serious in the gym. I started to see my body transform as I worked harder and I was hooked after that.
Why I Love It:
Bodybuilding isnt just a sport its an art. Its my passion in life. I love the feeling of each and every grueling rep. The idea of having control of how your body looks, feels and performs is amazing. Training is the best stress reliever for me, after a day of sitting at a desk the gym is always my escape. I also enjoy the positive feedback and the kind words I receive from all my hard work. I love the positive things that fitness gives to a person.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by seeing myself get closer and closer to the goals I set for myself, whether its leaning out or bulking up. Knowing in my head that I can get better everyday based on how much work I put in. I also like to read and educate myself with new info to better my knowledge with fitness. Adding new music to the ipod also helps me out big time.
BB Accomplishments:
405lbs on bench weighing in at 190lbs, 315lbs for 5 on incline bench, 405lbs for 8 on squat (all the way down), 93 pushups in 60 seconds at a pushup contest. 2nd cut as an American Gladiator contestant.
