When I Started:
Jan, 2006
How I Started:
Well, I can't really say when i got started. I would say i got started because i was tired of being a weak fat boy in highschool. The moment i realized i needed to start lifting weights was in 9th grade pool class. There was this very athletic, naturally built kid on the football team that thought he was top shit. One day in the showers before class started, i was standing there washing up, minding my own business, when he walked up to me and told me to give him the shower. I, ofcourse, said no. i started showering again and the next thing i know he pushes me and i slip on the wet floor and fall. I got back up and choked him but it was sooo embarassing. I will never forget that moment. I began lifting seriously in my 10th grade year when i bought a bench and weights. now that ***got doesnt mess with me.
Why I Love It:
Lifting is a way for me to relieve stress. There's nothing i love more than not bein able to get out of bed the morning after a hardcore workout. It makes me feel like i have accomplished what i went to the gym to do in the first place. I love hearing people say i'm on "roids" when im not. I love the feeling of power i get when i finish my last set of benching or squatting.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by setting goals for myself. Right now im more into powerlifting than bodybuilding so i go for the big numbers. My goals as of now is to get my bench up to 315, get my squat up to 405, and my deadlift up to 495 by the end of june.
BB Accomplishments:
I dont plan on competing in bodybuilding, but powerlifting is a different story.
Forum Signature:
Strength is not a measure of physical capacity, but an indomitable will.

I would like to lose 35-45 pounds of fat and obtain a six pack within the next year or two. I want to be able to run 5 miles with no break and run the 40 in 4.7 seconds. To be model material at some point in my life.
