Pretty simple really, got fat, didn't want to be, did atkins but looked sick. Started doing cardio, eating better, lifting heavy.
Why I Love It:
It's a great stress reliever and life motivator plus I'm not getting any younger.
How I Stay Motivated:
Having a friend to workout with is a great souce of motivation, don't want to get lapped. I also look at old pictures of myself, and of course when you see someone you haven't seen in a while, and they comment, that's pretty good motivation.
BB Accomplishments:
Still a work in process and plan to be for a while, this is a lifestyle change. Accomplishments thus far? Adding an inch to my arms, benching more than I ever have in my life, and dropping 2+ inches in my waist.

I want to lose the handles and the rest of the bodyfat covering my muscles. Then I want to have the body I've always wanted but been too lazy to work for. Working now, it's a process, a lifestyle. A marathon not a sprint. Hang on!
Hey you, I'm back! I took a break from everything during the holiday season. Working full time, kids, and then planning a vacation took to much time away. Now I am back and ready to reach my weight loss goal. I hope your holiday season was a success and I hope 2008 brings you everything you want and deserve.
I just dropped by to wish you much success in achieving your goals. Challenge yourself to be the best that you can be, nothing more but nothing less and you will reap the rewards of all your hard work. Smile, and enjoy the journey. I look forward to watching you progress in ’08.
Thanks Michael. You have a great Thanksgiving day too. I learned yesterday that for a serving of mashed potatoes and gravy you have to walk three miles to burn it off. So it looks like this weekend will be a rough one for us out there losing weight. Good thing you look great and don't have to worry about it ;)
Hey handsome! Yeah that was a tat you saw..lol I am getting another one on my back hopefully soon. So I need to drop 15 pounds by New Years. I hope it is doable. How are you doing?
Hey you... No I am not taking the class. They changed the times and it interferes with my work schedule now. How are you doing? I am pleased to say that I bought pants a size smaller yesterday. I squeezed into two sizes smaller but I couldn't breath...lol
Question: Since you quit smoking have you gained weight? I've upped my routine to try and burn calories but I have still gained 5 pounds this week. Maybe some of it is muscle though. Not sure.
Hello there Michael. I start this next week, we had some unexpected company again this week so I wasn't able to attend the classes next week. I am really excited to start it though.
Hey you.. how are you doing? I am yet again changing things up. I have signed myself up for a body sculpting class two days a week. That should be lots of fun, and speed up the wieght loss a bit too. I can't wait.
Michael.. have ya been .? Hope your feelin awesome haven't chatted with ya in a while .. you popped up on my bodyspace lol.., have a perfect day ! :)~Gina~
Hey Michael just thought I would stop in and say hello. Guess what I have to buy a size smaller in workout clothes, my pants were falling off of me as I was on the tredmill today. Yes I get excited about the littlest things.. How is the non smoking coming for you? Proud of you for that..
Thanks for the complement. I moved here from Tennessee about 2 months ago, so I'm still learning my way around. Depending on the traffic in Denver, I'm about an hour or a bit more from those spots.
