When I Started:
Oct, 2006
How I Started:
I had lost about 40 pounds, but unfortunately have gained about half of that back due to stress and other personal issues. So I'm basically starting over again and hoping that this time I can stick with it no matter what.
Why I Love It:
How I Stay Motivated:
I'm have a wonderful boyfriend who tells me I'm beautiful just as I am. I want to be even more beautiful for him...especially on our wedding day.
BB Accomplishments:
It was losing 30lbs and 2 sizes, but most of that weight is back on now. UGH!!
My long term goal is 125 lbs - which would put me back to my high school weight and hopefully in a size 6/8. I've already lost 40 lbs and gone from an 22/24 to an 18 (almost 16). My current short-term goal is to lose another 15-20 lbs and maybe another size or two by the end of the year.
Well, here I am starting over....again. I was doing so good losing the weight until BAM I get laid off, my boyfriend deploys, and I have no luck finding a job. But since a year has gone by I'm getting back into my routine and have really refocused on losing this weight. I'd really like to...
Glad to see you jumped back on board! That is REALLY half the battle. I dont know anyone in Montgomery but aerobic instructors at Gold's Gym. As much $ as people invest in diets, dvds,etc- hiring a trainer REALLY is a smart move. Call a gym near and tell them gender, age and type of trainer you want. I only train women and mostly are military spouses or stay at home moms--its a good fit for me and the clients. Let me know what I can do to help. You can do this!
I am having trouble replying to blogs right now.
Have you posted in the personals for a trainer?
Do you use fitday.com to track your diet?
Are you eating 5-6 smaller meals per day?
Is your cardio too fast?
Check the losing fat section of the forum.
Hope this helps.
