I've always tried to keep myself in pretty good shape but I wanted to stay that way and decided this was the path.
Why I Love It:
As with anything else in life, with discipline, hard work, and intensity the results one is looking for will follow. Many have stated over the years that I don't look my age and, of course, that is a GOOD thing to hear from one's peers.
How I Stay Motivated:
That is tough sometimes but I manage to stay consistant on that issue. I guess my comments above may help answer that question. Truthfully though, it's about self-respect. I'm relegated to old and ugly, but fat and weak is not on the itinerary.
BB Accomplishments:
Started at 58 @ 168# - now I weigh 188.5# after just less than 3 years...and that is with 4 months off late last year with this damned 'tennis eblow' stuff.

To any that have served in our Military I thank you for your service and courage.

Know my limit...then exceed it by just a bit.

Thanks for the rep, my friend! And I'll not only say that you definitely do not look your age, you look GREAT for your age!
Keep in touch and keep lifting and growing!

Wayne - thank you so much for taking the time to check out my profile and leaving an inspiring comment. My daughter will be 26 when I'm your age - I can only hope to look half as good as you do at that time! Keep up the good work, Wayne....and keep on rockin' with the music, too!
Wayne, thanks for the "bump" on the forum; I figured someone must remember those routines. I believe your music will keep you young, better than weights: look at Les Paul. Keep on keepin' on. . .
Wayne,
Thanks for the reps, and again thank you for serving!
Many Blessings!
ps: My son is hoping to be a professional musician. He plays violin and bass guitar.
