How I Started:
I had always been an overweight teenager and, my best friend, Keith was always into working out. Even though I had moved to Maryland and he was still in Pennsylvania, the moment he told me he joined a gym I knew I had to after seeing how well he did for himself.
Why I Love It:
I love the challenges it brings. It's more than just lifting weights, it requires accurate calculations and strict tactics. Seeing my body transform within days (dieting) amazes me.
How I Stay Motivated:
Knowing that I can never settle for what I have - always having to tweak or improve in certain areas.
BB Accomplishments:
June 29, 2008 - 1st place in the NGA Annapolis Heavyweight (Novice) Division June 24, 2007 - 2nd place in the NGA Annapolis Middleweight (Novice) Division.

I'm sitting here, thinking about the trophy presentation.  I had heard from a few friends that they thought I was going to place first in the heavyweight (novice) division.  A few people running the show commented to me that they think I had taken first but they really didn't know. ...
