When I Started:
How I Started:
Joined my High School Football Team my Sophomore year at 6'2" and 135lbs. The first thing the coach said was, "You haven't lifted a weight in your life have you."
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel and look good. It's a time where I can get away and also challenge myself.
How I Stay Motivated:
Music and lifting log. A new tune always gets me pumped. Looking at my log helps me to know where to start and to improve upon the last time.
BB Accomplishments:
I benched 315 (2 reps) in 2005.
I am benching 100lbs dumbells on a consistent basis (3 sets 6 reps)
I am currently in the best shape of my life and still going!

This is about a year after I started really focusing on body building.
Getting stronger and maintaining same weight. I ran out of my egg whites that I have about every morning (see my supps) and have notice a slight loss in definition. The reorder arrived yesterday. So I am back on them:)
Great DVD! I received this DVD from BB.com and I gained some great tips from Bob Cicherillo! I used some of them in my leg workout today. It's funny that in the video Bob says how NOT to do certain exercises (form) and there are two instances where someone at the gym is doing it wrong...in...
Thanks for your message. Yeah, I've been using the eggwhites for almost two years. I mix it with Isopure Protein, Peptide Glutamine, Super Seed (fiber), and Greens 8000. My office calls it the "Shrek Drink!". Take care and keep growing! CJ
Thanks for the add ... if you stay as focused in the kitchen as you are in the gym, you'll get where you want to be. Be specific about your goals, then you'll be inclined to do specific things to reach them. Be relentless ...
I'm working on the soda thing. I usually always drink diet, which I know can still be not so good for me. I'm trying for more water. Now that I'm taking creatine, I'm forcing myself to drink water water water water. We'll see. Thanks again for your comments!
Yeah, those weekend diet wrecks don't happen that often, but often enough that I'm going to try and watch them this year. I love school trips, but I also hate them. If you wouldn't mind sharing, could you give me some dietary suggestions?
Thank you! Yep - I have to reset my goals. I'm now down to 178. I was told that I'd have a hard time putting back on muscle with the MS and should just focus on getting lean - but, I agree what do "they" know?! During the last month, I've seen a lot of changes and have learned how to work through with the MS fatigue - and am actually seeing changes. Thanks again. I guess I better go set some stretch goals. JC
Great progress! The 100lb dumbbell presses are definitely paying off - great chest development - while staying lean. Best of luck meeting your goals. JC
Thick pecs, bro. Lift heavy & be careful not to overtrain body parts. Go for the basic lifts. You'll reach all your goals. Congrats on your work so far.
