How I Started:
Long story short.. for about 2 1/2 years I had an eating disorder w/ occasional episodes of bulimia when I was really stressed out. I was eating about 500 cals a day conisisting of 100 cal yogurt, veggies, and coffee. I decided that I couldn't live my life like this anymore and stopped cold turkey in April 2006. I killed my metabolism and my body held onto everything I ate. I gained about 60lbs and then all of a sudden in Feb of 2007 I was able to drop weight again, I lost 40lbs from Feb to August. I bought the book Burn the Fat Feed The Muscle by Tom Venuto and it was a huge eye opener to the figure/bodybuilding world! Now I eat clean food 6x a day,drink tons of water, lift weights 5x a week as well as daily cardio and sometimes double sessions. I love every minute that i'm in the gym. :)
Why I Love It:
I love pushing myself and the feeling I get when I finish an intense workout!! Plus who doesn't love having a better body!?
How I Stay Motivated:
By keeping my mind right and focused, I have some awesome people who put a lot of time and effort into helping me reach my goals, so I can't let them down: J-dogg (Jphillips17)and Cat(hollandc).I pretty much have the best damn team..lucky girl I know:)
BB Accomplishments:
Beating an EATING DISORDER by myself and losing 40lbs from Feb-Aug..but I still have lots of work to do! :)

Same night, diff angle for a pic. I only did cardio-becaues haha..weights make you bulky ;) lol what a loser and how missinformed I was.. As you can tell my hair is thin and unhealhty looking, some of it was actually coming out, creeped me out but haha of course my nutrition was solid.. ya right..a ...

I recently did a paper on eating disorders and while doing research I was shocked at the number of people who have them.  I focused primarily on anorexia and here are some interesting facts.

Don't let society/media tell you what "beautiful" should look like...Love yourself and...
