Joined gym, was overweight,over tired from working alot of overtime hours for years, when I retired in spring 2008 I started going to the gym and trying to learn more about serious workouts!
Starting out last spring 2008 at 179lb 44%bf Jan 2008. I have lost about 30 lbs of fat! Lacto-Ovo-Pesce-Vegetarian, so a new challenge: bodybuild and care for the animals and planet.

What is the most dangerous weightlifting exercise? Why?
I am using the Nautilus Free Plate type machines for some of the exercises. ie chest,shoulder press and rows because heavier free weights are harder to get in place to begin or end reps. Yep. I put the sugar in my post-workout shake, because I needed a fast-digesting carbohydrate and sugar does the trick for cheap. It's about the only time of day I had any sugar, though.

Oh man! I totally understand :) The weight does tend to "creep" up on us as we get older! Keep working hard! If I can make the changes Ive made Im positive you can 2 !
