Joining the Marine Corps changed my life drastically with regard to health and fitness. I deployed to Okinawa and because there wasn’t much to do on my free time I worked out and read fitness magazines. There was a supplement store on the gym at Camp Schwab so I finally got on my first supplement routine – protein, creatine monohydrate, multi-vitamins and glutamine. After quite a few months of this regimented schedule I managed to put on some quality muscle. On my spare time I would go to the Vitamin Shoppe to read articles, look at supplements and compare products. In 2001, I trained with another fellow Marine, Joe Byrd, to compete. Even though I did not end up competing that year due to unexpected events, the learning process of competition preparation was excellent. Him and I motivated each other through the tough times where you’re depleted and have no energy. I promised myself that I would eventually do a competition but I’d have to focus on putting more quality muscle on my tall frame. Being 6’3” is tough in the bodybuilding world.
Why I Love It:
Bodybuilding has been a constant motivator in my life and has been the greatest outlet I've had, specifically in the Marine Corps and in Iraq. As a result, I've been bitten by the bug and I'm ready to get up on stage and see what kind of package I can bring to the sport.
How I Stay Motivated:
There’s been many people over the years who have said my training intensity and dedication to the sport is unparalleled in anything they’ve ever seen. Every time I step foot in the gym I’m there for a purpose – it’s all business. Every set counts and every rep in each set counts. It’s all one step closer to achieving something I wasn’t sure I was ever going to be able to do. I always think this way and it keeps me going.
BB Accomplishments:
To date, featured in FLEX Magazine (2009) July and September edition. I've been in contact with FLEX Magazine now since the beginning of 2009 so there is some interest in me. After my October competition FLEX will be doing a "My Story" in the NPC Report.

AaronWilliamsonchanged Overall Goal: "Pursuing a fitness endeavor to help bring a healthier lifestyle to New Orleans, LA. More to follow as things progress.."
This was taken after I finally got back into the gym; I suffered from a quad strain which put me out of commission for a couple of weeks. Now that I'm healed I feel great. Hope to post the next updated photos in a couple of weeks.
Still working on bringing up my lower quad sweep. Being a tall guy it takes time. It's progress though!
Description: Training hard all the way til' the end... New diet = less carbs. Time to get ripped. The transformation over the next few weeks should be quite dramatic.

Why I like this video: A basic look at what it takes to be a bodybuilder. Obsessed is just a word the lazy use to describe the dedicated. Bodybuilding is a sport of dedication and precision.
This will be a fairly short post for tonight; I'm tired and have been busy all day cooking, packing, eating and I trained legs earlier. Tomorrow morning I'm leaving for Tampa, FL to work with Tim Gardner during my final week of contest preparation before the show next Saturday.
Whats up Aaron I like that you are repping for the big guys. Maybe one day we will meet on stage. I am compete again next year. Keep it up. Iand I like that dead lifting heavy I am with you 100%. train hard peace and blessings. 1
