How I Started:
I got my first set of weights at 13 when one of my cousins, who was in his twenties at the time left the country. I didnt kno what to do with them, and the funny thing is, i knew what theyre for once my arms got harder and body started changing after using them for a while. I only started working out heavy when i was 17, when i travelled to the US for university. Then my priorities changed in 2008 and decided to explode and bulk up. I can say that thru my journey, ive learnt about the effects of food on the body, the effects of certain exercises on the muscles. This all lead me to give advice to people around me so they can live a healthier life.
Why I Love It:
1. Love the progress, both in the short term and long.
2. Gotta love the pump. Right?
3. Love how the mind clears up
4. Keeps you motivated to eat healthy
5. I love challenging myself
6. and.. ofcourse, comon, uve gota love it when others compliment you on your hardwork. you'd be in denial if you dont enjoy that on some degree.
How I Stay Motivated:
I guess staying motivated differs from time to time. Sometimes others at the gym motivate me cuz of their achievements physically. Sometimes i get motivated by reading bodybuilding articles, as well as learning new exercises. But most importantly, im doing this because frankly and simply put bodybuilding is my life.
