How I Started:
One day I realized that playing video games wasn't going to get me anywhere, I missed the companionship and competition of sports. Mostly I just missed the feeling of being fit.
Why I Love It:
The rush, the overall feeling of working towards a goal and improving you're life. Not only does it help you health wise but the dedication and persistence are life lessons.
How I Stay Motivated:
I owe it to myself and to my late grandparents. They did everything possible to make sure I would achieve more than they could, I am not about to let them down in any aspect of my life.

What Veras Is Up To:
Mar 9, 2009
Veras changed Body Fat from 16.9% to 18.4%, a gain of 1.5 percentage points
To re-motivate myself to get in shape, a tough school year last year and a loss in the family have left me with extra pounds on the stomach and set me back to the starting line of all the progress I had made...
Getting back into the swing of things this year has been refreshing and it's time to re-dedicate myself to fitness as the first half of new school year is already here.
Motivation has been a problem lately but I am determined to push through it, I refuse to fail.
I feel the motivation from getting in shape, getting that "six-pack" and just improving overall athleticism and health will lead to improvements in other areas of my life and it's time to stop making excuses and start producing results.
