I got started watching my dad as a baby do 500 push-ups a day before going to work. My mom used to take pics of me next to him in diapers trying to do push-ups. I've been off & on my whole life (definitely more OFF then on these days).
Why I Love It:
Love is a pretty strong word...I like it and love the feeling I get afterwards, but working out is a task. There are certain goals I want to accomplish and the only way to get there is through consistent and intense regiment, so I have to stick to it (period).
I have a traditional ectomorph body and to top things off I'm a Vegetarian! I know I not going to be Arnold incarnate, but I can be much better than I am now and I'm going to prove it to myself.
How I Stay Motivated:
"Stronger than yesterday" thats how I stay motivated. And, while keeping that in mind remind myself there is no easy way to do it, no pills, no starting & stopping, "oh just this 1 day off" garbage. Consistency & Intensity that's how I plan to achieve it. I'm just getting back in the gym after a brief injury period prolonged by procrastination and after reading a few profiles on bodyspace, I'm inspired and ready to take charge of my bodybuilding life.
