Worked out from 86 until the early 90's took a year off after abdominal surgery. Then stopped because of career.

35 lbs and other things I have learned.

So today is official. I have lost 35lbs. Now I know, tomorrow my weight will probably bounce back a tad and I am fine with that and expect fluctuations. However, it is the first time it has fell below 151 lbs. And I have been able to keep it below 155lbs for some time now. How have I been doing it? Well… watching what I eat and lots of cardio on the treadmill. I had my VO2 test. It really helps to know your fat burning range for cardio.



I’ve also learned that fat calipers suck! I bought an electronic BF% tester and it is much more accurate and convenient. So now

Measurement Day

I bought a myo tape and body fat calipers last month and measured myself. I really didn't take much stock in them because, I didn't think I measured anything correctly, even though I watched the videos here on bodybulider.com.


Today has been approximately a month since I last did body measurements. I redid them. I expected that they would be way off do to operator error. I followed the videos again. Shockingly, I came out with similar measurements to before. I don't know if that was good thing or not. I lost some body fat (I even measured six

So today 11/23/2011 it has been a year since I weighed the most I have ever in my life 186.3 lbs.  After careful monitoring, cutting out 99.9% of fast food & 95% junk food and finally getting my metabolism moving I now weigh 163.6 lbs. Yeah I've lost 22.7 lbs!   



Now let's get 5 more lbs!!!!  and keep if off for 6 mos and then start working on my new body.
