I got sick for two weeks and I lost like ten pounds so I'm just goin with the weight loss and trying to get cut up as much as possible.
Try starting off small and gradually increase. If your make your work load to difficult in the beginning youll lose interest fast

V-up crunches: lying on your back with both feet in the air and spread apart like a V, reach toward one side and go down and then to the other side and continue.

Lets see:
Side Crunches - Try lying on either side with your hip toward the ceiling and your ankles and feet togather and try side crunches.
Alternating crunches - ly on your back with your feet off the ground creating a 90 degree angle at the knee and crunch up bringing your righ elbow to your left knee and then left elbow to your right knee and so on.

Well with my experience, I think you have to learn to accept the fact that if you wanna lean out, you will lose a little bit of strength. It seems to just come with the territory. You won't take a huge loss, but the benefit of cuttin up in myu opinion looks so much better. I have for the most part always been lean and I gear my training toward high reps rather than weight. I think that keeps me cut and free from injury.
