My local running club has 5 slots for Boston. I found out today that they gave 1 of those to me. See you in 21 weeks.

My biggest road block is a bum knee. I hit the gym at 5 this AM, and feel a lot better. I 'll see how things progress.

As my summer ended, so did my late night part time job. I've been itching to get back on the road, but I've had a scratchy throat, and runny nose, and I don't want the crude to invade my respiratory system. So I'm impatiently waiting, and hopefully I'll be running with a vengence soon. I have a 4 races scheduled over 6 weeks ranging from 5K to 1/2 marathon.

Just finished a summer gig, working at the airport from 21:30-01:30, I was throwing luggage, and cleaning planes, but the late night hours wore me out. Am taking a college classes on Thursdays to renew my liscience. Hope to return to running beginning Friday. All is well, and hectic. Keep moving forwards, you're off to a grat start as spring approaches.

I've started a part time night job 9:30-1:30 or later 5X a week. It is absolutely killing me. I've been running infrequently, and was trying to play basketball 2-3X a week. Sunday I raced to the top of Mt Mansfield, VTs highest summit. t was a 4.3 mile race with 2550 ft of elevation gain. I finished in 66:31. If I'm lucky I may do a 10K Saturday, and a 1/2 marathon early in Oct.

Thanks for the supporive comments. I've started a new job that has me working nights, and has thrown my sleep schedule, and training schedule out of whack. My attitude reflected being tired, and frustrated, but friends like you are treasured. Thanks for getting my spirits up.
