When I Started:
Nov, 2008
How I Started:
I've always been involved in sports, either through competition or business so I used to workout often. While living In Florida I got in the best shape of my life working out at Golds Gym in St. Petersburg. Then I resumed my professional climb which involved moving more than 10 times and extensive travel so I lost my commitment. Now that my life has settled its time to resume the training. Started with 30 minutes a day using Perfect Pushups system and adjustable Bow-Flex dumbells but now I'm frequenting gyms 5 days a week, even as I travel.
Why I Love It:
Just seeing the body change and increased focus and energy. My muscles have always reacted well and quick to bodybuilding but I was never consistent enough. Also setting a better example for my kids.
How I Stay Motivated:
Setting an example for my family gets and keeps me motivated but this site also has helped. I like seeing the transformations & dedication of others and the encouragements everyone shares. Changes I can see quickly in the mirror help as well but definitely room to improve.
Setting a positive example for my family and overcoming sports knee injuries while proving GLOBAL WARMING IS A HOAX and surviving Obama!
Goal (Long):
I know how good my body can be and my goal is to build that body again. I used to be the guy in the gym people asked what I was doing to develop my body. Due to sports injuries, mostly knees, I need to keep my body strong to reduce any future problems. I want a trim, muscular, more athletic body again and accomplish it without sacrificing my time with family, my profession and my volunteerism.
The first person I connected with on here and her "coaching" helped jump start my training and to train without re-injurying my knees. Her energy and enthusiasm is contagious.
On March 31 I posted how pleased I was with my shoulder's strength gain. I did 155#x9 reps then but I came back April 9 I surpassed that at 155x11 followed by 160#x7. I feel my routine is better now with a warm-up set (14 reps), power set @moderate rate (10-12 fast reps), then the 3rd a...
Yes I found a gym so my workouts are a little more productive. Its even FREE and usually empty LOL. Started out just using the Perfect Pushup system and a set of Bow-Flex adjustable dumbells at home. Even now that I'm in the gym, I think I get a better pump using the close-hand pushup at home....

Hey there! Been awhile since we've chatted. Good to hear from ya. Things r going well. My injury is recovering well. Thank u for asking. I'm back full force in the gym and doing all I can to get back the strength I had before my time off. Hope things are going well with u.
Yeah its not easy doing either, trying to gain or to lose. I happen to have no problem gaining lol, but thats not what I want ;op Mybf however is struggling to gain as well. Eating as many calories a day as he needs in nutritious foods is not easy. Its def work. Keep at it. It'll come around. But you look great thus far!
