I first started in my late teens. My focus was to get rid of, or tone up, my flabby thighs; though I would only do cardio. When I wasn't seeing the results I wanted, I began purchasing magazines focusing on health and fitness. I realized I had to change my eating habits and begin weight training. Once I began, I loved it! Though, back then, I wasn't as dedicated as I am now. I became more dedicated in in December 2004 and began loving the "pain" even more. So, now I'm truly hooked and am going on my 4th year of serious training.
Why I Love It:
Because it makes me feel good both inside and out. I love the fact that my RHR is low and having a doctor say I am in excellent cardiovascular and physical health. I love walking down the street during the Summer and have people look at me with respect, and overhearing young kids say I'm diesel...LOL!
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing other people who don't workout keeps me motivated; realizing the human body is a sculpture we can define and chisel to our liking; my overall health keeps me motivated. It is not necessary for most people to struggle through simple activities when, through proper diet and exercise, so many physical, emotional, and cardiovascular elements can be improved.
BB Accomplishments:
Definition throughout my body, as well as striations I didn't know I had until I was preparing for my first amateur figure competition.

Hey, I haven't talked to you for awhile, so thought I'd drop by to say hi and ask a few questions. lol...
I want to gain muscle, without getting bulky. In other words, musclar and toned. Any suggestions? Also, any suggestions on protein powders?
