How I Started:
I joined a gym just to play basketball and decided to give weightlifting a shot. I was never consistent enough going a month here and a month there. In Jan. 2005 I went daily for 6 months straight and was very pleased with the results, but stopped once again and just started working out again in August 2007 when I came overseas. It's been over a year and some change but I'll get it right!
Why I Love It:
It's just a part of my lifestyle and I want to become a personal trainer when I return home. It also gives me peace of mind just like when I'm playing basketball and can be in my own little zone.
How I Stay Motivated:
I love how I have some control sculpting my body in a way that makes me happy about the hard work I put into it. I can't forget my Ipod either!
BB Accomplishments:
Right now it's just getting stronger each week and maintaining consistency. I've gotten stronger and feel better in 3 months than I did in 6 in 2005. I'm not going to stop this time for nothing God willing!

Just getting started. I really want that "V" taper look.
I don't really see too much difference! How about anyone else. Be honest.
Project get my body right is on starting tonight 5/5/08! I will have a six-pack by the time I go home this time!
Goal (Long):
I want to lose 15-20 lbs of fat and drop my body fat to 7% and be in the best shape of my life. I want to be a chiseled 225lbs and sculpt every bodypart the way I want it to look! I also want to practice what I preach on a daily basis and pursue a career in personal training to help others to obtain their goals.
I am on a wicked rollercoaster. I am still strapped in but I have a lot of ups and downs. Really struggling. My workouts are good and diet is going well this week. Attitude/mood is the challenge. Anyway, have a great week. I know your doing great.
Like one of my favorite quotes says, "You must be willing to do the things that others won't, in order to have the things that others don't have.". I understand, I was a nurse for 11 years, and worked all sorts of crazy shifts and was also in the gym when most people were sleeping.
Hi, thanks. I've been pretty tired lately. You know. Trying to train hard enough to keep/build muscle, yet lose fat. It's a fine balance. I don't want to do it too quickly, because I've been there and done that. I always gain weight back so fast when I lose it really fast. How's your day going?
Toronto is pretty amazing in the summer if you want somewhere in Canada to aim for but then again Vancouver is stunning with all those mountains near by... its a beautiful country to live in - if I do say so myself. ;)
