How I Started:
I had been lifting a little bit on and off before, but in July I really got into it and made it a serious part of my life.
Why I Love It:
I like the satisfaction I get when I am able to lift more than the week before as well as the muscle I get from it.
How I Stay Motivated:
The change I get in my body and my everyday life. I feel more motivated, confident and athletic than I ever have before

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
About a minute, long enough for my training partner to do his set
How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
I usually do sets of 12, 10, 8 reps and then a lower rep failure set with a really slow negative on the last rep
What is your favorite traps building exercise?

BTW, thanks for leaving the 1,000 comment at my site! Congrats on your shrugs - impressive weight, I'm surprised there's that many plates in the gym (lol). Forgot to ask earlier, but what are you currently doing for chest? I know you've been working hard to keep bringing that bench up and I'm sure the potential is there given your improvement in shoulders and back. I'd just like to help if I can with ideas!

I hope so, too! Last time I got my benching up I was just shy of being able to actually fill a XXL shirt - maybe this time I'll get there. My progress is on hold until I finish my play this week, but in about 4 days I'm back full speed ahead. My goal is to make some picture worthy progress by Halloween!
